Net Impact (SRB) in collaboration with Urban Tree Connection, are hosting urban farming projects that aim to transform decrepit, trash filled lots into gardens that may one day be filled with vegetables and flowers. Not only is it a great way to clean up the Philadelphia landscape, it also promotes sustainability since the farms will one day yield local produce. Participating with the farm will allow individuals to network with a diverse group and build positive relationships with the members of the community. The urban farm that SRB works on is located between 18th and 19th on Uber St.
